Kenda Tire to build a third factory in Yunlin county of Taiwan
Taiwan-based tire producer Kenda Tire Corp. has declared that it plans to build a new factory in Yunlin county, Taiwan.
The board chairman has been authorized to spend 700 million New Taiwan dollars on land and construction.
The new factory is expected to be the third one established by Kenda Tire in Yunlin.
The first-phase construction of Kenda Tire’s new tire factory in Dong Nai province, Vietnam, has completed, becoming the second tire production base of the tire producer in the country.
The new factory in Vietnam is expected to start massive production in the first quarter of 2018. Its maximum daily output is 5,000 tires and the products will be supplied to the North American replacement tire market.
In addition, Kenda Tire’s Indonesia base has already entered massive production, with daily capacity of 2,000 motorcycle tires and 3,000 bicycle tires.
