Linglong Project Involved in "National Sci-Tech Support Plan"

The "applied technology of Kevlar in high-performance radial tire" project of Shandong Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. was accepted by the experts in Beijing and involved in the "National Science and Technology Support Plan".

The "applied technology of Kevlar" of Linglong Tire has met all the research and testing requirements and its product has reached Level BB of EU's labeling law.

In this project, Linglong Tire has developed the structure designing technology of Kevlar heavy-duty radial tire product, whose weight is 13.2% lighter than ordinary tires.

The tire product's rolling resistance coefficient meets Level B of EU labeling law, about 17% lower than that of ordinary radial tire, and its oil consumption is 3.1% lower. At the same time, its wet skid resistance has reached Level B, with the noise meeting Grade 2.

Currently, the embedded electron beam pre-curing equipment developed by Linglong Tire has been applied in the textile cord pressing production line, filling a domestic gap.

Linglong Tire has applied for 10 domestic and foreign patents for the project.
