Triangle Tire Adopts General Manager Rotation

Triangle Tire announced on Dec. 30, 2016 to adjust the company’s organizational structure and senior management.

The company decided to adjust the management structure and adopt general manager rotation.

When the rotating general manager takes office, Ding Yuhua will no longer take the post of general manager, but still hold the office of board chairman.

First, the management structure has been adjusted.

Management: The post of president is changed to general manager; deputy general manager is under the general manager as senior management of the company.

Executive: The post of executive general manager and executive deputy general manager have been set up as the executives rather than senior management.

Secondly, the followup arrangement of former senior management is as follow:

After the structure adjustment, those who haven’t been appointed by the board of Triangle Tire, namely Wang Zusheng, Sun Qingjiang, Jiang Rongsheng, Shi Weiquan, Cao Guangyu, Sun Shumin, and Sun Jianyi, will no longer take the posts of senior management (without resi gnation), but they will take the offices of executive general managers or other relevant posts in the business units of the company.

Former financial manager and board secretary don’t participate in the adjustment and they are remaining the senior management.

Thirdly, deputy general manager will be hired.

Nominated by existing general manger Ding Yuhua, the company’s deputy general managers will be Song Qikeng, Zhang Tao, Ding Mu, Lin Xiaobin, Zhong Danfang, Tony Nobilo.

The tenure of those people starts from the date on which the nomination was passed by the board, and ends till the expiration of the board’s term.

Fourthly, the general manager will resign.

When the Triangle Tire adopts general manager rotation, rotating deputy general manager will take the post of general manager.

Therefore, current general manager Ding Yuhua had resigned from the post of general manager.

When the rotating general manager takes office, Ding will no longer hold the office of general manager, but still keep his post of board chairman.

Fifthly, the general manager rotation will be adopted.

Sixthly, the rotating general manager will be appointed.

The board of Triangle Tire appoints Song Qikeng as the first rotating general manager for a year, starting from Jan. 1, 2017.

With regard to the adjustment as stated above, Triangle Tire said that the changes in senior management group are huge, but they won’t cause significant negative impacts on the company’s governance structure, management or operating stability.

According to the company, the adjustments will maintain the management’s stability, hence increase the company’s efficiency in decision making and operation.

The personnel changes in Triangle Tire aim to accelerate the development of its globalization strategy, improve the mechanism of personnel selection and training, and develop senior management team with capacities of decision making, organization and commanding.
