GAC may participate in China Uber

China Uber announces to cooperate with GAC in the aspects of capital and business.

In terms of equity investment, GAC has confirmed to participate in the second round of financing of China Uber, but the exact amount has not been revealed.

Cooperation in Substantial Businesses

According to China Uber, it will carry out strategic cooperation with GAC in terms of sales, customer service, financing, marketing and launching alternative energy vehicles, especially.

China Uber and GAC will jointly promote the purchase of new vehicles and construction of trading platform of second-hand vehicles.

Meanwhile, China Uber will also use their advantages in terms of globalization, big data technology and brand effect to help GAC tap markets at home and abroad.

China Uber will encourage drivers and leasing companies to buy second-hand or new vehicles on the platform provided by GAC. And GAC will offer the buyers some discounts. This cooperation is carried out in the similar way as that between China Uber and Geely.

Along with cooperation with Chinese automakers, China Uber has further opened up its operation chain and broadened its layout.
