Dongying 2016 rubber tire exports down 3.6% y-o-y
Statistics showed that Dongying’s rubber tire exports in 2016 was 15.70 billion yuan, down 3.6% from the previous year.
Among the exporters, the export value of Shangdong Xingyuan International Trade Co., Ltd. was 1.72 billion yuan and that of Shandong Winda Boto was 1.52 billion yuan, ranking the top two in the city.
In 2015, the top two were Hengfeng Tires Co., Ltd. and Shangdong Xingyuan International Trade Co., Ltd.; in 2016, Shangdong Xingyuan International Trade Co., Ltd. maintained export growth and took the first place in the city’s tire export.
Dongying’s tire export totaled 1.36 billion yuan in Dec. 2016, generally on par with the previous month.
As one of China’s major tire producer, Dongying’s rubber radial tire capacity accounts for about 20% of the country’s total. Last year, the city’s tire export took up 52.2% of its overall export value.
