Scrap tire processing project was built in Yunnan
The scrap tire processing and recycle project, with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons, officially started construction on Jan. 18 in Yunnan.
The groundbreaking ceremony was held in the newly requisitioned land of Zhengyou Waste Material Recycle Co., Ltd. in Lincang, Yunnan province.
The new project has requisitioned a total land area of 66.4 mu for constructing new factories and warehouses of 4,560 square meters with an overall investment of 71.65 million yuan, including subsidies of 5.01 million yuan.
The project is capable of recycling scrap tires of 30,000 tons, processing rubber powders of 19,500 tons, steel wires of 7,500 tons and tire fibers of 2,400 tons annually, which will save natural rubber of 10,000 tons and steel of 7,500 tons.
Upon completion of the project, the company’s sales revenue is expected to reach 105.39 million yuan, create 150 jobs directly and 2,000 jobs indirectly.
