Export Volume of Tires from Ningxia Doubles in Jan.-Oct.
Statistics released by the Customs of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region show that in the first 10 months of this year, Ningxia exported 16.41 million rubber tires, valued at 220 million yuan, both the numbers doubled over the same period of last year.
The tire exports from Ningxia showed a growing momentum, the monthly export increased for 19 consecutive months, and in seven months of this year, the monthly exports grew for several times.
The EU and Arab countries are the major export destinations of tires from Ningxia.
In the first 10 months, Ningxia exported 7.58 million tires to EU, up 59.9%, and its export to Germany doubled.
At the same time, Ningxia exported 5.72 million tires to the Arab countries, up 400%, and the export value surged 600%. Yemen and Oman are new export markets of Ningxia this year.
Sound development of processing trade is the major reason for Ningxia’s tire export growth. The autonomous region exported 14.37 million truck and bus tires in terms of processing trade, driving the tire export value growing exponentially.
