The 8th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition opened in Guangrao, Shandong province on May 15.

This year’s event features four characteristics.

First, the scale of the exhibition is greater with more exhibitors and audiences.

Both the area and the number of exhibitors are larger this year, and a number of the world’s top 75 tire producers have participated in the exhibition.

Second, new faces have been seen in this year’s exhibition, including the newly established Beijing BCT Tire Co., Ltd. and Shandong Hikee Tire Co., Ltd.

Anhui Heding Tires Technology also appeared in the event after renaming itself as Anhui Jichi Tire.

Third, there are abundant concurrent activities during the exhibition, covering international trade, macro-economy, industrial standard, technical R&D, human resource, intellectual manufacturing, and e-commerce.

Sailun Jinyu Group held the launching ceremony for its team to participate in the Tour de Taklimakan Desert Auto and Motorcycle Rally.

Senior industrial experts were invited to the Tire Industrial Development Conference to share their opinions.

Fourth, the tire industrial cluster centering and around Guangrao is a key foundation for the exhibition.

Statistics show that in the first three months of this year, large rubber and tire companies in Guangrao realized industrial output value of 30.09 billion yuan and profit of 2.52 billion, up 7.3% and 5.3%, respectively; and their tire exports rose 17% to 3.39 billion yuan.

The county’s comprehensive tire capacity has reached 152 million tires annually, including 116 million semi-steel radial tires, 35.1 million all-steel radial tires, 500,000 engineering radial tires, with the radial tire capacity accounting for 25% in China or 47% in Shandong.

Since it was started in 2020, the exhibition has become a renowned professional tire expo today.
