Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone recognized as national intelligent industrial park
The National Development and Reform Commission has officially certified Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone as a national intelligent industrial park.
Rubber and tire manufacturing is one of the 40 intelligent manufacturing programs of the industrial park.
Over the past few years, QETDZ has put great emphasis on the development of intelligent factory and digital workshop. Sailun Jinyu Group, which is in the park, is identified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as the one of China’s first enterprises included in the Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Program.
In 2017, NDRC will select a high-tech development zone in East, Central and West China as the demonstration pilots of intelligent industrial parks of manufacturing industry.
So far, two pilot parks have been decided, including QETDZ and Chongqing Bishan High-tech Zone.
