Archival Catalogue on Shanghai Alternative Energy Vehicles is Released

Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology released archival catalogue on Shanghai alternative energy vehicles recently, with 16 alternative energy vehicle models involving in and 6 of them receiving no local subsidies. This is Shanghai’s first released alternative energy vehicle archival information since the new subsidy policy came out in January.

There are 13 PHEV models and 3 BEV models among the 16 alternative energy vehicle models, including two models from exported BMW and Tesla respectively. Models in the catalogue will obtain Shanghai Alternative Energy Vehicle license plates for free.

Besides, six models can’t obtain local subsidies for the batteries can’t be found in national battery directory. The six models including the above four models from exported BMW and Tesla, and models from SAIC GM and Zhejiang Haoqing.
