High ratio of inspected tires found substandard in Guizhou province

The local industry and commerce bureau of Qiandongnanzhou of Guizhou province in 2016 carried out sampling inspections on auto tires, motorbicycle tires and auto brake hoses, finding quite many products were substandard.

Among the 20 batches of auto tires from 14 dealers or 4S stores, some 20 percent were substandard.

Some 50 percent of the 10 batches of motorbicycle tires from seven dealers were substandard.

Only 10 percent of the inspected auto brake hoses met the standards.

The inspections mainly collected samples from counties of Danzhai, Rongjiang, Congjiang, Liping and Jinping.
