New Tire Products Appear in G20 Summit

The Group Twenty (G20) Summit was held on Sep. 4-5 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.

The international conference has also become a platform for tire brands showing their charm.

Hongqi L5 undertook the mission of carrying political leaders from other countries and was eye-catching.

The car was produced by FAW Group with independent property rights and outstanding performance in terms of operation, comfort, low-noise and low rolling friction.

Of course, there were times when the leaders took other vehicles.

This vehicle has also been installed with tires of Chinese brand.

In this year’s summit, sightseeing buses were equipped with Doublestar DS805 tire model.

The special structure adopted by the tire model ensures high stability and maneuverability of the vehicle; its material helps lower the rolling friction, which saves energy and lowers noise.

A person working with Doubestar Tire said they chose the tire model after a dozen times selection and testing.

The Yutong high-end commercial vehicle model, T7, was the designated vehicle by G20 organizing committee. The tires installed in the vehicle, GAR830, were manufactured by Giti Tire specifically for the summit.

Giti Tire signed an exclusive technique agreement with Zhengzhou Yutong Group, agreeing that in the coming three years, the tire will be supplied for Yutong T7 exclusively.
