HBIS Handan Iron & Steel Group’s Cord Steels Applied by Radial Tires

Eighty-ton 72A cord steel produced by HBIS Handan Iron and Steel Group (HBIS Handan) has been applied by radial tires.

On the basis of applying 72A cord steel in steel wire and other domains, the company adopted effective approach and finally produced the very product it wanted by researching the nature and feature of radial tires.

As a framework material, cord steel has been widely applied by sedan tires, light-duty truck tires, heavy-duty truck tires, engineering vehicle tires, aircraft tires, as well as other rubber products.

Radial tires applying cord steel as reinforcing material have longer life, faster speed, piercing resistance, good elasticity and greater comfort.

Established in 1958, HBIS Handan is an import production base for quality plates and bars in China as well as a core subsidiary of HBIS. Its annual capacity has reached 13-million-ton quality steel.
