Chinese Company Rolls out New High-Speed Tire Molding Machine

In the Tianjin branch of Beijing Yingyie Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd., China’s first new high-speed two-stage tire molding machine demonstrated the progress for automatic forming of 24 tires.

Dozens of experts and representatives from Guangzhou Vanlead Group and Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber witnessed the production.

It took about 25-28 seconds to form a tire.

The production efficiency of the new molding machine has been improved by 50% from old models, while the number of labors needed has been halved, and the performance of the machine has reached international standard.

With wider application of the molding machines, China’s import of molding machines will decrease sharply.

Liu Shangyong, deputy manager and head of technical R&D with Beijing Yingyie Mechanical Equipment said the two national patents of invention and two patents of utility model have been applied for the molding machine.

The molding machine is applicable for tires with the diameter of rims ranging from 14-inch to 20-inch and the installed capacity is 125 kw.

Liu emphasized that it needs only one person to operate the molding machine with merely three tasks, namely hanging up the tire bead, dealing with the alarm, and watching the joint of the sidewall, which lower the labor costs considerably.
