Jinan Customs announces top 100 foreign traders in Shandong

Jinan Customs lately released a list of the top 100 foreign traders in Shandong province last year.

Overall exports were good

Shandong province exported 220 million tires in 2016, up 15.8% from 2015, hitting a new record high.

The top 10 tire exporters in Shandong exported a total of 78.05 million tires, up 14.7%, valued at 21.49 billion yuan, up 7.6%.

The export volume and value of these tire producers accounted for the province’s 35.1% and 45.2%, respectively.

Among the top 10 producers, 7 of their export volume and value increased, and 3 decreased.

Triangle Tire, Linglong Tire and Hengfeng Rubber & Plastic were these seeing both export volume and value declines.

Shandong Yongfeng Tire showed vigorous development, with the export volume surging rapidly.

Hengfeng family shows strong momentum

There were nearly 800 tire producers in Shandong in 2016, with the export volume and value accounting for 47.4% and 56%, respectively, of China’s total.

The top 10 tire producers are also among the province’s top 100 exporters.

Triangle Tire was again the largest tire exporter in Shandong province.

Shandong Haohua Tire was the only one among the top three maintained positive growth in export volume and value.

Sentury’s Thailand started operation in Aug. 2015, capacity transfer pulled it out of the top 10 tire exporters in 2016.

Yongfeng Tire, the subsidiary of Hengfeng Group, reported sharp increases in export volume and value, and ranked the 5th.

The two and Changfeng Tire took three positions in the top 10 exporters, showing strong growing momentum of Hengfeng family.
