China's auto output hits record high in Nov.

China's auto output in Nov. totaled 3.08 million units, up 18.69 percent from Oct., or up 2.31% year on year, hitting a new record high; and the sales reached 2.96 million units, up 9.73% month on month, or up 0.65% year on year.

The passenger car output in Nov. reached 2.67 million units, up 19.97% from Oct., or up 1.18% year on year; and the sales was 2.59 million units, up 10.08% month on month, but down 0.03% year on year.

The truck and bus output was 411,200 units, up 11.01% month on month, or up 10.35% year on year; and the sales was 368,100 units, up 7.33% month on month, or up 5.64% year on year.

In the first 11 months, the output and sales of autos were 26.00 million units and 25.84 million units, respectively, up 3.88% and 3.59% year on year, but the growth rates were 0.39 percentage points and 0.54 percentage points fewer than in the first 10 months.

The output and sales of passenger cars in Jan.-Nov. totaled 22.22 million units and 22.09 million units, respectively, up 2.20% and 1.91% year on year; and the output and sales of trucks and buses were 3.78 million units and 3.75 million units, up 15.02% and 14.79%, respectively.

The output and sales of new energy vehicles in Nov. were 122,000 units and 119,000 units, respectively, up 32.8% and 30.5% from Oct., or up 70.1% and 83% from the same period last year.

The output and sales of pure electric vehicles were 105,000 units and 102,000 units, up 35.3% and 32.9%, respectively, from Oct., or up 64.3% and 74.8% year on year.

The output and sales of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles both topped 17,000 units, up 19.4% and 18.2% month on month, or up 117% and 154% year on year.

In the first 11 months, the output and sales of new energy vehicles reached 639,000 units and 609,000 units, up 49.7% and 51.4% year on year.

The output and sales of pure electric vehicles totaled 532,000 units and 504,000 units, up 56.6% and 59.4% year on year.

The output and sales of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles were 107,000 units and 105,000 units, up 22.5% and 21.8% year on year.
