Toyo Brings Celsius Tire to Commercial Delivery Vehicles

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. is expanding its all-weather Celsius line to commercial van and light truck applications with the Celsius Cargo.

The Celsius Cargo features durable construction and offers local delivery and service vehicles a commercial grade option with year-round reliability.

Toyo says the Celsius Cargo provides better snow and ice traction than a typical all-season tire and longer tread life than a winter tire. It carries the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol. Here are four more characteristics:

• the all-weather design features an outside tread designed for all-season performance and an inside tread for winter traction;
• a circumferential rib and lower void ratio on the outside tread maximizes wet and dry performance;
• zigzag shaped tread blocks with high sipe density, snow claws, and slush grooves on the inside tread evacuate snow and ice for cold weather traction;
• anda durable sidewall provides extra protection against curb damage, and the sturdy casing provides handling and stability during frequent stops and starts.

The Celsius Cargo all-weather commercial tire is available in three popular fitments including the Ford Transit 150/250/350 and Ford F-250/350 Super Duty. An additional 10 sizes in for 16-inch to 18-inch wheel diameters will be released in September.
