Shandong Changhong Rubber Technology may restart production in May on April 2, an insider told Tireworld.com.cn.
A local investment company injected restart capitals, and the company is also one of creditors in Changhong Rubber.
Changhong Rubber has completed most preparation of restart work, the insider said.
Not long before, Changhong Rubber decided to openly rent its factory on the third creditors' meeting, which attracted lots of investors' eyes.
Changhong Rubber was founded in 2013, and was designed to produce 24 million units of half-steel tires/year, 2.4 million tons of full-steel tires/year.
The factory could produce 5 million half-steel tires/year before its bankruptcy.
