Shandong Tongzhou Chemical EPDM project starts construction

The EPDM program of Shandong Tongzhou Chemical Co., Ltd., with annual capacity of 50,000 tons, has started construction.
With an overall investment of 947 million yuan, the project is expected to come on stream in 2018.
It will produce more than 20 types of EPDM products for downstream customers.
Currently, China’s demand for EPR is about 400,000 to 450,000 tons and EPR is used in auto parts, waterproof membrane, and wire and cable sectors.
