Sentury Tire involved in MIIT’s pilot intelligent manufacturing programs
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has published the list of pilot intelligent manufacturing demonstrative programs for 2017.
The pilot demonstrative program of intelligent tire factory, which is applied by Qingdao Sentury Tire Co., Ltd. is involved in the list.
Since MIIT started to publish the list in 2015, tire producers could be found on the list every year.
The pilot intelligent tire manufacturing program involved in the list in 2015 was applied by Sailun Jinyu; and that in 2016 was Doublestar Group.
Sentury Tire was also the only tire producer involved in MIIT’s comprehensive standardization and new model application programs of intelligent manufacturing for 2016.
In addition, Shandong province released early this year the first group of demonstrative programs of intelligent manufacturing pilot.
Among the 60 programs in Shandong, three are related to the tire industry, and the producers involved are Triangle Tire, Sentury Tire and MESNAC.
