Yiyang Rubber & Plastic Machinery builds up new digital manufacturing base
The signing ceremony for Industry 4.0 strategic cooperation between Yiyang Rubber & Plastic Machinery Group and Germany-based Fraunhofer was held Aug. 15 in Yiyang, Hunan province.
It was also the kick-off meeting for the two company’s “intelligent rubber machinery digital manufacturing base construction program”.
The program is expected to be built in the East Industrial Park, covering an area of 258 mu with an overall investment of 500 million yuan.
Fraunhofer Industrial Automation Research Institute will design the digital factory.
Upon the cooperation, Yiyang Rubber & Plastic Machinery will accelerate the integration with Krauss-Maffei, and make full use of the opportunity of cooperating with Fraunhofer to achieve another leapforward.
