Wanda BOTO Tire thirdly punished in four months

Shandong Wanda BOTO Tire Co., Ltd. was punished by local administrator due to environmental issue again.

Local environmental protection officials discovered May 17 that one of the firm’s three 35t/h steam boilers was operating while the environmental protection facilities of the program hadn’t been approved, and the main project had been put into operation.

The administrative penalty sheet shows that the company was fined for 40,000 yuan in Jun. 2017.

It is the third administrative penalty received by Wanda BOTO within three months.

Early this year, some waste gas of the firm’s mixing workshop was discharged without following required procedure.

It was fined for 20,000 yuan in Feb. because of the event.

In addition, the company transited waste engine oil of 1.72 tons in three times to Dongying Guoan Chemical Co., Ltd. in 2016, without filling the hazardous waste transition application form, nor receiving the approval.

It received a penalty of 100,000 yuan in Apr. 2017 because of this.

In the eyes of some large tire producers, tire transaction is far more important than environmental protection.

Light penalty and absence of environmental protection assessment are the key reason why many tire producers violate environmental protection rules.
