Shandong SNTON Steel Cord involved in MIIT demonstrative programs
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released July 14 the Demonstrative Pilot Programs for Manufacturing and Internet Integration 2017.
In the category of information physics system, Shandong SNTON Steel Cord Co., Ltd. is on the list, with its intelligent production base for high precision special wire.
MIIT released 70 demonstrative pilot programs of five categories, namely industry cloud platform, industry big data service platform, industry e-commerce platform, information physics system, and industry systematic solutions.
State-owned enterprises, such as AVIC Beijing Aeronautical Manufacturing Technology Research Institute and China Nuclear Industry Fifth Construction Co., Ltd., are also among the programs of information physics system.
Established in Oct. 2013, Shandong SNTON Steel Cord was invested by Shandong SNTON Group for radial tire steel cord production.
The company has established close cooperative relationship with a number of renowned tire producers, including Apollo, Kumho, Bridgestone, Hankook, Sumitomo, Yokohama, Zhongce, Triangle Group, Double Coin, Guizhou Tyre, and Huanan Rubber.
