Wanli Tire cracks after 10,000 kilometers’ drive
Mr. Ma, a car owner in Gansu province, disclosed that the four tires of his car, Brilliance V3, have all cracked after driving less than 15,000 kilometers.
The tires adopted by Brilliance V3 are provided by Wanli Tire under the specification of 215/60/R17, with the load index of 96 and the speed rating of H.
The quality of auto parts has become a hot topic of domestic consumer complaints.
According to China Consumers Association, in 2016, there were 35,800 complaints concerning domestic autos and parts, the second most in complaints over specific products.
The complaints over tires increased to 4,562 from 1,864 in 2015, growing the fastest among all product complaints.
But statistics provided by a third-party auto quality assessment platform show that the complaints in April have decreased both on monthly and yearly basis.
The complaints over speed transmission, tire and engine dropped 35.9%, 32.9% and 31.4% from March, respectively.
