TUV Rheinland, RDW help tire producers entering EU market

Three officials and experts from the national road traffic agency (RDW) of Netherlands visited the Qingdao branch of TUV Rheinland.
The two sides discussed how to certify vehicles and tires before they can be put on the EU market as well as the latest dynamics of rules about tires.
RDW staff explained the technical requests of the Economic Commission for Europe on tires to the Qingdao branch of TUV Rheinland. The certification has covered a majority of ECE rules on tires.
The two sides also clarified a number of issues in which they had disagreements.
