Giti releases details of 6 Giti-branded tyres on CV Show 2017 stand

Giti Tire has released details of the six new Giti branded patterns that will be launched at CV Show 2017 (Birmingham NEC, 25-27 April). On show at stand 4G20 will be the GDR655 combi-road drive in 22.5”; the GTL919 long-haul trailer in 17.5”, 19.5”, and 22.5”; the GDR638 regional drive in 17.5” and 19.5”; the GT867 all-position urban in 22.5”; and the GAM837 all-position and GAM851 trailer mixed service patterns in 22.5”. The manufacturer said these models have been carefully selected to support its growing OEM presence throughout Europe or to target specific aftermarket sectors where growth potential has been identified. They each carry either the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) or M&S marking.

Giti Tire announced the CV Show would host its unveiling of the first phase of its Giti branded truck and bus portfolio. 20 patterns in total will make their European debut. Alongside the six new product lines, Giti will display conversions of existing popular patterns from GT Radial, many of which have been improved through increased load index, label results or 3PMSF accreditation. Also on display will be the company’s recently rebranded retread programme, named Giti Genesis.

The stand will be split into six core areas: combi-road, long haul, regional, mixed service, urban and winter.

Last year it was announced that the Giti name will replace GT Radial in the truck and bus segment to create a singular global platform and streamline product development. The tyres will continue to sit at the top of the mid-tier segment with extensive value-added service support.
