Pulin Chengshan leads green tire production

Pulin Chengshan Tire Companyand a German enterprise have co-developed a software for calculating the tire running noise. In two months since Pulin developed anew type of low-noise tire, the company has received orders worth some 12 million euros.

Shandong province, where Pulin Chengshan is located, attaches great importance to the introduction of green technologies and standards to the manufacturing sector.

The tire running noise mainly comes from frictions between tire patterns and the grounds. The design of tire pattern should take acoustics and aerodynamics into consideration, said Liu Changbo, technology director of Pulin Chengshan.

Chengshan Group, the parent company of Pulin Chengshan, has collaborated with 12 science academies and enterprises to explore more progresses in fuel saving, wear resistence and light weighting.

These measures are aimed at improving our company’s information, digital and smart standards, said Che Hongzhi, chairman of Chengshan Group.

Purportedly, Shandong province is mulling over a package of schemes to bring more manufacturers into green production. The east Chinese province plans to build 10 green parks and 100 green factories in three years.
