Triangle Tire, Sailun Jinyu respond to winning in U.S. appeal

Chinese tire makers Sailun Jinyu and Triangle Tire have both published statements on their victories in the legal actions against the United States government over the anti-subsidy and anti-dumping issue.

Triangle Tire said it has a mature consumer group and good cooperation with large distribution channels in the U.S. after more than 20 years of exports to the U.S.

In 2015, Triangle Tire built a sales team in the U.S. Since then, it has further improved the local distribution network with better technical service and supporting capacity.

Triangle takes the victory in the appeal as a good opportunity to develop in the U.S.

Sailun Jinyu said it would keep a close eye on the case in the U.S. and would disclose related information in time.

Earlier, Triangle said its business involved in the case only accounts for about 1.11 percent of its revenues in January-September 2016 and the U.S. anti-dumping and anti-subsidy move would have very little impact on the company.

Sailun Jinyu also said the case would have relatively weak influence on its performance.
