Shandong Guangrao to build itself into the “capital of tire”
The government of Guangrao county, Shandong province, has released the goals and plans for 2017, aiming at boosting its GDP to 100 billion yuan by 2021 and building itself into an internationally renowned “capital of tire”.
Guangrao is an important domestic base for rubber tire production and export.
According to the working report of local government, it will accelerate the development of e-commerce, give emphasis on the construction of e-commerce mansions and entrepreneurship bases, and drive the export and import of quality products produced by the county.
A tire production industry chain has been formed in the county since 2002, when local government decided to focus on the development of rubber and tire industry.
A number of industrial leaders, namely Xingyuan Group, Sailun Jinyu Group, and Hengfeng Tires, are originated from Guangrao.
