Huasheng Rubber starts tire project expansion
The Guangrao county of Shandong province held on Mar. 6 the groundbreaking ceremony for key projects in 2017.
With an overall investment of 26.52 billion yuan, the were 46 key project breakingground this time, including a high-performance semi-steel radial tire project of Shandong Huasheng Rubber Co., Ltd. with an annual capacity of 24 million tires.
The project was started in 2013 and some of the production lines had come on stream.
The project was constructed in phases, and the lately initiated was an expansion project.
Huasheng Rubber is the only company starting a new tire project in Guangrao this year.
Shangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission approved in 2013 thesemi-steel radial tire project of Huasheng Rubber.
There were two other local tire projects approved in the same year: the all-steel heavy-duty tire project of Huafengyuan Rubber with an annual capacity of 2.4 million sets and the high-performance radial tire project of Yongjin Rubber with an annual capacity of 12 million sets.
