Yokohama Rubber rolls out China tire deal

The Yokohama Rubber Co. announced Aug. 2 it has signed a basic agreement with Shandong Xingda Tyre Co., a Chinese manufacturer of off-road tires for construction and mining vehicles.
Yokohama Rubber will provide Shandong Xingda Tyre with technical support and purchase a fixed quantity of off-road radial tires manufactured by the company.
Technical support is planned to begin in or after this summer, and purchase is planned to begin in the latter half of next year.
