Linglong Tire to Expand Investment in Thailand
Shandong Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. expects to add investment and build a tire testing center as well as a production plant of rubber compound material in Thailand.
Linglong Tire and Thai industrial administrative authority inked a letter of investment expansion in Apr. 2016.
Wang Feng, board chairman of Linglong Tire, said the company plans to implement the third-phase compound rubber project in Thailand, with an estimated investment of about 700 million U.S. dollars, or 20 billion Thai baht.
The company is expected produce green, environmentally friendly, quality products with advanced technology and equipment, to enhance its competitiveness and sustainability.
Linglong Tire has invested hundreds of million dollars in Thailand and completed the first- and second-phase construction of its production base since 2014.
