Cooper Tires to provide tires for car rental service
Cooper Tires has lately agreed to supply tailored tires for EVCARD, an electric car renting company based in Shanghai, the American tire giant has announced.
With EVCARD, a driver can fetch and return a car at any rental lot after booking it at any time.
Cooper Tires has actively carried out research on the design and development of electric car tires, as the environment-friendly new energy technology is becoming a hot trend of the car industry.
The ECO C1 tire for EVCARD came out under independent R&D and design of the Asia-Pacific Tech Centre of Cooper Tires based in Kunshan, Jiangsu province, east China.
Both the resistance to rolling and adhesion to wet surface of the ECO C1 tire reach the B-level standard of Europe.
The ECO C1 tire won the prize of Fuel-efficient King and the prize of Green Design in 2016.
