Doublestar Dongfeng Tire to construct new production base in Shiyan, Hubei province
Shiyan government of Hubei province inked on Dec. 1 an agreement with Doublestar Group on the move, upgrade and reconstruction of Doublestar Dongfeng Tire Co., Ltd. and new investment programs.
Doublestar Dongfeng Tire will move to the new industrial area in Shiyan.
The new base is supposed to construct the world’s leading Industry 4.0 intelligent industrial park, Industry 4.0 intelligent tire factory, and Industry 4.0 intelligent factory for waste rubber and plastic recycling.
The project is to cover an area of 650 mu with an overall investment of 1.5 billion yuan, the construction will be about 18 months.
Upon completion of the project, the new base will possess the capacity of 1.5 million all-steel tires and 5 million semi-steel tires, with expected annual sales income of 2.9 billion yuan.
