The import and export value of the four dry ports in Fujian province totaled about 4.43 billion US dollars in the first 10 months of this year, according to Fujian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.
The major exports include bamboo and wood products, white carbon black, calcium carbonate, and tea bags, while the major imports are wine and medical appliances.
The container throughput in Jinjiang inland port was 236,600 TEUs, up 47.04% year on year; and the import and export value was 4.12 billion dollars, up 48.58%.
The container throughput in Longyan inland port was 4,162 TEUs, up 17.77%; and the import and export value totaled 285.92 million dollars, up 61.8%.
The container throughput in Wuyishan inland port was 164 TEUs, up 290%; and the import and export value was 6.79 million dollars, up 830%.
