Bridgestone discloses information about Tianjin tire base
Bridgestone disclosed in a report the capacity and operation of its tire base in Tianjin.
The annual output of Bridgestone (Tianjin) Tire Co., Ltd. is 8.33 million, the subsidiary operates 343 days per year, and the daily output is 24,300 tires.
From Sept. 11 to 18, the tire base produced 21,700 tires per day, with capacity utilization at over 75%.
Bridgestone disclosed information mentioned above in an environmental monitoring report.
The tire produce owns various tire bases in Shenyang, Tianjin, Wuxi and Huizhou. The Tianjin base started to produce Bridgestone tires from 2000, when Bridgestone purchased all shares held by the Korean party of Tianjin Kumho Tires in Jan.
In Sept. 2000, Tianjin Kumho Tires Co., Ltd. was officially changed to Bridgestone (Tianjin) Tire Co., Ltd.
After that, Bridgestone expanded the Tianjin base and increased the output capacity.
