Ningxia Dadi Circular Development new project to produce 32.4 mln tires/year

Ningxia Dadi Circular Development Corp. Ltd. launched Sept.19 the third and fourth phase radial tire project with annual capacity of 20.1 million.

The third phase project covers 326 mu and will construct production lines of semi-steel radial tires, with annual capacity of 10 million tires, and motorcycle tire production lines, with annual capacity of 20 million tires.

The fourth phase project covers 427 mu for construction of all-steel radial tire production lines and engineering tire production lines, with annual capacity of 2.4 million and 50,000, respectively.

The two projects are expected to start pilot operation in the first half of 2019.

Upon completion of the projects, the annual output value will top 10 billion yuan and 7,500 jobs will be created.

The 20.1-million radial tire program was launched in 2013 and the designed capacity involves 10 million all-steel radial tires, 10 million semi-steel radial tires and 100,000 aviation radial tires.

The first phase 2.4-million all-steel radial tire project has basically reached designed capacity so far, and the second phase 2.4-million all-steel radial tire project has completed construction and will start operation in the first half of 2018.

The supporting project for the second phase, the 100,000-ton steel cord project and 80,000-ton carbon black project are under construction.

The steel cord project will start pilot operation in Nov. 2017 and the latter will operate in Mar. 2018.
