RMB370 mln Innovation Park of Guangzhou Vanlead Group Opens

Vanlead Innovation Park of Guangzhou Vanlead Group officially opened on July 29.

The innovation park was ungraded on the basis of former Southern Rubber Plant.

Vanlead Group invested 370 million yuan in the innovation park project, which takes an area of 28,000 square meters and includes a center and three research institutes.

The center is Vanlead Tire Marketing Center, and the institutes are Vanlead Rubber and Tire Research Institute, Vanlead Chemical Research Institute, and Vanlead China-Ukraine Fine Chemical Joint Research Institute.

Vanlead Rubber and Tire Research Institute is a corporate technical center as well as a scientific postdoctoral center with national certification and has undertaken a number of national research projects.

At the same time, the institute has participated in setting standards for the rubber and tire industry.

The position of Vanlead Innovation Park is an international R&D center and the group will conduct reform and innovation in three aspects, namely R&D capacity, system establishment and staff training.

The innovation park introduced in a number of advanced equipment and established an R&D system and an intelligence system, in a bid to ensure its competitiveness in R&D.

Fu Shoujie, board chairman of Vanlead Group, said the innovation park will strengthenthe group’s industry foundation and boost the development of the group by high-tech, new products, new businesses as well as new patterns.
