Four Companies from Dongying Involved in China’s Top 10 Tire Producers
China Rubber magazine of China Rubber Industry Association and the tire division of CRIA jointly released on Aug. 18 the Ranking of China’s Tire Producers for 2016, with four firms from Dongying, Shandong province, among the top 10.
The sales revenues of tire companies from Dongying exceeded 50 billion yuan and accounted for one third of China’s tire industry’s total, with Shandong Hengfeng Rubber and Plastics Co., Ltd. among the top three for the first time.
In the national export tire quality and safety demonstration area in Dongying, 97.6% of export tires pass the inspections; and 9 labs of tire companies are recognized by CNAS, accounting for 53% of Shandong’s total labs recognized by CNAS.
In addition, all companies within the demonstration area have passed ISO9000certification and 14 of them passed TS16949 certification.
Moreover, 23 companies in the demonstration area registered 232 trademarks in the U.S., Pakistan , Singapore, and other foreign countries.
