Linglong launches polar-themed promotion

Linglong Tire is promoting its winter weather products by associating them with two of the coldest places in the world. On 21 August, the tyre maker held a ceremony titled the “Launching ceremony of Linglong Tire reaching Arctic & Antarctic” together with Chinese photographer and polar explorer Ju Chang.

Ju Chang acts as the official Linglong Tire “polar ambassador,” and on 7 August he unfurled the Linglong Tire flag at the North Pole. The company states with pride that theirs is the first Chinese tyre brand to be present at the northernmost place on Earth. The tyre maker shares the hope that Ju will combine the spirit of exploration with Linglong Tire’s fighting spirit, and spread this message throughout the entire world.

The ceremony was attended by Linglong Tire chairman Wang Feng, who stated that the aim of the promotion was to learn from the “dauntless spirit of global scientists and explorers” in order to produce all-weather tyres that can help “Linglong move forward to the peak” of the tyre industry. Linglong Tire notes that it has long drawn upon science and technology and invested a great deal of manpower and material resources in order to overcome the technical difficulties encountered in tyre production.
