Linglong Tire Inks Natural Rubber Purchase Agreements

Shandong Linglong Tire signed trilateral strategic cooperation agreements on July 23 with Guangdong Guangken Rubber Group and Singapore-based Goodpack with regard to natural rubber purchase and transport.

Guangdong Guangken Rubber is a Chinese rubber company with the largest scale of rubber industry chain in overseas market.

The company established seven processing factories, five large-scale rubber planting bases, two large-scale seed bases and several international trading companies in primary rubber production countries in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia and Singapore.

It owns the best rubber sources and supply chain outside China and is a key rubber supplier of Linglong Tire.

Goodpack is the world’s largest rubber container supplier as well as a preferred rubber package supplier for international rubber and tire companies.

The company’s flagship product is a secure, efficient, environmentally-friendly packaging solution that ensures clean and non-pollutant process during rubber transport.

Strategic cooperation among the three is about transiting Guangzhou Guangken Rubber’s rubber products through Goodpack’s containers for Linglong Tire, in a bid to improve the quality of Linglong Tire’s raw material packaging.

The move helps Linglong catching up with the world’s leading tire companies in means of raw material transition.

Linglong Tire said the cooperation signifies the tire producer becomes China’s first tire company adopting international packaging standard for rubber transition.
