ZC Rubber to launch a New UHP Tire

On the summer day, drivers should carefully choose high-quality tires to avoid any possible tire problems due to the high temperature during the driving," says the company. "The new tire features excellent performance on the handling and water drainage to keep safe on the road.”

The SA57 will be available in 42 sizes broken out as follows:

* 33 for passager cars;

* nine sizes for SUVs.

Other sizes may follow, says the company.

Compared to its predecessor, the SV308, the SA57 is 10% stronger in wet braking. It also has 2% lower roll resistance, lower noise (by two decibals), 5% improved wet handling and 3% improved dry handling.

The directional UHP tire also features improved silica compounding (for enhanced wet and dry grip) and a circumferential V-grooves pattern (that provides drainage paths and ensures outstanding water drainage).

ZC Rubber says it spends $300 million on research and development and equipment annually. That includes summer and winter tire testing.
