Tire Exports from Dongying Plunges 34% in June
In the first half of this year, rubber tire exports from Dongying, Shandong province, totaled 7.35 billion yuan, down 10.5%.
Included were 782 million yuan by Shandong Xingyuan International Trade Co., Ltd. and 724 million yuan by Shandong Winda Boto Tyre Co., Ltd..
The two were the largest tire exporters in Dongying in the first half year.
In June, Dongying’s tire export value was 1.33 billion yuan, down 34.17% year on year, or down 312 million yuan from May.
Dongying is of the Chinese cities where a large number of tire companies gather, with the capacity of rubber radial tires accounting for about one fifth in China.
In the first five months of this year, the number of tires exported from Shandong province totaled 86.41 million, up 13.8% year on year, and the export value amounted to 18.54 billion yuan, up 3.1%.
