Bridgestone to Buy SSBR from China
The headquarters of Bridgestone has sent an SSBR 2564S pre-launch instruction to Dushanzi Petrochemical Co., signifying the latter’s SSBR 256S has been officially involved in Bridgestone’s purchasing list.
The R&D cooperation between the two sides are expected to end China’s import of SSBR raw materials for tire rubber and to improve China’s SSBR production.
To localize high-end SSBR, Bridgestone had been looking for raw material partners in China.
High Vinyl SSBR produced by Dushanzi Petrochemical has become the only recognized domestic SSBR products by China’s tire companies.
Bridgestone has cooperated with Dushanzi Petrochemical since March 2015 to try the latter’s SSBR products and is satisfied with the performance of 2564S.
In the meantime, Bridgestone is satisfied with Dushanzi Petrochemical’s production environment and security, quality management, as well as operation management.
