Fengyuan Tire Starts Building Intelligent Stereoscopic Warehousing Center
Construction of the intelligent stereoscopic warehousing and distribution center of Shandong Fengyuan Tire Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has started.
The intelligent stereoscopic warehousing and distribution center is built by the west side of the production area of Fengyuan Tire, with an area of about 17,000 square meters.
The center is expected to have 40,000 cargo spaces, which will contain 1 million tires. Eighteen Longmen robots will be used to sort and stack the tires, and 12 pilers will be used to distribute the tires for storage.
The management system WMS is capable of connecting with Fengyuan Tire’s MES and ERP systems seamlessly.
When the center is built up, Fengyuan Tire’s warehousing management will be digitalized and the safety supervision will be visualized.
The initiation of the project marks Fengyuan Tire’s another step forward on the road of realizing Industry 4.0.
