Automotive parts manufacturer Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) plans to open a second global headquarters in Shanghai, China, in 2017.
Beda Bolzenius, vice chairman, Asia Pacific for JCI, said: “While we already have the facilities and extensive relationships to serve the automotive market in China, we will continue to add manufacturing capacity and expand our operational footprint across our businesses as market demand grows.”

According to the press release, the company boasts a manufacturing footprint across the area that includes 32 joint ventures and 61 manufacturing plants.
