Foton auto becomes the biggest new energy vehicle enterprise in China

The 1st Shandong Foton auto exhibition was held in Jinan from Jan. 5th to Jan. 8th, in which Foton auto showed its latest energy saving products. At the same time, Foton auto's new energy base in Shandong was put into production and 10,000th Foton new energy bus was finished there.

Shandong Foton auto exhibition is the 1st single self-owned brand exhibition in the industry, aiming to show brand strength of Foton auto. Many new models were revealed during the exhibition which shows the determination of Foton auto to transform and innovate. SAUVANA is the latest SUV brand of Foton auto, which is divided into 3 series by configuration. And latest MPV brand also attracts a lot of attention. At present, Foton auto's varied models could meet different daily demands of customers.

The new energy base of Foton auto in Shandong locates in Shandong Weifang high and new technology zone whose investment is 1.5 billion Yuan, including technology research and production. The capacity is estimated to reach 10,000 and main products are new energy bus, group bus, school bus etc. Annual sales revenue is expected to be around 7 billion Yuan. Besides this new energy vehicle base, Foton also owns several production and research bases in Shandong. Along with the operation of new energy vehicle base, the capacity of Foton auto's bases in Shandong will reach 600,000 and Foton will have competitive R&D ability in the world and production capacity of light commercial vehicle, MPV and new energy vehicle. Foton auto are transferring from single manufacturing base to multifunctional R&D base by readjusting industrial structure.
