China’s largest online shopping mall TAMLL.com launched “Super Tire Service” with one of China’s Insurance Service supplier China PingAn in January 2015.
What is “Super Tire Service”?
Consumers could buy tires online and fix up in a nearby shop for free. The free fix-up service include tire installment, tire dynamic balance, free tire repair and free tire rotation, which cost hundreds RMB in offline shops before.
Cooperation with China PingAn, consumers are not only allowed to buy tires by installment payment, but also could get free tire insurance when you buy the tires, which is not supplied to tire retail sales.
With the tire insurance, consumers could get 80% of purchasing cost as compensation supplied by China PingAn Insurance Group, if the tire blows out in one year since consumers bought.
It is said that “Super Tire Service” has covered over 1600 service shops in 211 cities in China, which means millions of car owners will benefit from the service.
TMALL eyes on China’s auto after-sales service market
It is not the first time that TMALL.com tries to enter into China’s automobile after-sales services market. Before that, TMALL.com joined hands with China’s GNSS & LBS Association to issue White Paper of Installment for China’s DVD Navigation Industry, which set up a O2O service standard for DVD Navigation Industry.
“Super Tire Service” is another O2O trial for TMALL.com in automobile after-sales service market.
