CMA recalls Bluestar trailer tires

China Manufacturers Alliance L.L.C. is recalling 10,462 Bluestar LQ225 Size 8-14.5 low platform trailer tires manufactured between Feb. 24, 2013 and Aug. 9, 2014.
The tires in question may develop blisters in the upper sections of their sidewalls, CMA told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Blisters may pop while the tires are in operation, causing air loss and blowouts.
CMA told NHTSA it will replace the tires free and began notifying tire owners Dec. 12 of the recall. The CMA customer service number is 626-301-9575.
