Beijing Hyundai, a joint venture between China's homegrown automaker Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co., Ltd. (BAIC) and its South Korean partner Hyundai Motor, sold 75,568 motor vehicles in July, up 25.5% year on year.
In the first seven months of 2013, the automaker's sales totaled 585,800 units, making it steadily on track to fulfill its annual sales target of 1 million units.
The company was mulling over setting up its fourth auto plant in China, which would bring Beijing Hyundai's total production capacity to 1.4 million units by 2015.
The current production capacity of Beijing Hyundai has reached 1 million units a year following its third plant going into operation.
